Hi all!
I'm wondering if anyone has the game called Grizzly Galtch?
I think that's what it's called..it was a software game. It's old, i remember it from like ten years ago. I'd still like to play it though.

Ah, Grizzly Gulch. I just wish it worked on newer operating systems and that the developer wasn't for all intents and purposes dead. I hope you find it and that it works for you, but if it doesn't don't expect to get any support from Bavisoft. About the only time you get a response from Bavisoft is when you suggest on the forum at www.audiogames.net that their games should be made freeware due to problems people have been having with unshipped orders and getting in touch with the company. And Bavisoft's only response is a basic please do not disribue our games message. But while I don't normally condone software piracy I feel thhat in this instance Bavisoft brought any piracy problems they have in the future, assuming they even bother to make an effort to keep going as a company, on themselves by their behavior over the last several years.

Actually, I don't think they're even trying to say we shouldn't pirate their games anymore. I seem to remember that on the most recent thread that discussed this on Audiogames, there was some serious doubt as to whether or not it was the developers of Bavisoft who responded. Not to mention their website had been hijacked because they obviously didn't give a damn about their customers, let alone updating and protecting their website.

OH wow..I know nothing of this company at all..I'm assuming the game won't work on windows 7?
That's to bad..if anyone has it and would or could send it to me...
Just curious..but now i'd be a bit put off ordering it since I don't want to throw money away on something that may or may not work on my pc.

If I were you, I would go to audiogames.net and create an account. Then search for Bavisoft. That's all I'm going to say on the matter.

I used to play those two, but the main reason i stopped was because I could never get anywhere because of the damn freezing bug they never fixed
for anyone who hasn't played, basically what happened was, if you tabbed away from the program to do anything, I mean anything it froze
also if something happened in the backround, eg: skype/MSN/whatever, it froze
so if you want to get through these games, turn everything else off

Post 10 by UniqueOne (I'll have the last word, thank you!) on Saturday, 27-Oct-2012 22:22:43

oh wow...I stopped playing because in the western game I couldn't get past the round with the rats in the hotel lol..

Post 11 by GreenTurtle (Music is life. Love. Vitality.) on Saturday, 27-Oct-2012 22:27:35

Well, it took me awhile to figure that out originally too. What you have to do is hold down the arrow key where the rat is positioned for a few seconds, let up on it, see if the rats have moved, and hold down the appropriate arrow key. Keep doing that, it will take about 5 minutes which is a bit ridiculous, but you'll get it eventually. It's a clunky system, after all, the rats should just move automatically, but they don't, so you just have to make do.

Wow, I remember that old game. Me and a friend of mine used to play it on his old Compaq. Now this thing had one of those sound max cards, and the whole thing was extremely glitchy, made the game almost impossible, but it was really funny to listen to. I'll leave you with an infamous quote. "You just got yourself shot. You interested?"

I know where you can get this game. Skype me or Pm me for details.

Post 16 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Thursday, 15-Nov-2012 12:05:11

Not only that Unique One but even if you placed an order for one of these overpriced games it's likely you wouldn't get it. They were having issues with that even before they stopped posting on the forum or acknowledging the community. They're almost as infamous as James North from Alchemy Game Studios.

wow, amazing! Man, I'd be so mad if they charged me and did not deliver.

hello. i would love to know where to download grizzly gulch. i'm getting a netbook without a cd drive so i'd appreciate if somebody could tell me some sort of link where i could download it from

I can put this game up for you guys, but it's an iso file. You have to burn it to CD, and then install it from the CD. Is that OK? Do you know what I'm talking about?

Post 20 by synthesizer101 (I just keep on posting!) on Saturday, 12-Jan-2013 21:42:54

ISO files can be read without a CD drive; I usually extract them with 7zip. This might not help depending on what is on the CD, but it's worth a try.

Enjoy.

Nah, you don't have to install Grizzly Gulch from a cd. I have an exe file of it which installed just fine from my external hard drive. I miss this game, though. Since upgrading to Windows 7, I can't play it anymore. Every now and then, if I'm in the right mood, I do want to play it for the sake of nostalgia.

Post 23 by slipknotenraged (Generic Zoner) on Monday, 14-Jan-2013 16:04:36

hello sorry about this. but as i find 7zip pretty difficult to use. are there exe versions of both grizzly gulch and chillingham? if there are i'd greatly appreciate your help

Post 24 by UniqueOne (I'll have the last word, thank you!) on Monday, 14-Jan-2013 22:26:47

Aww, I have windows7..so dunno if it is going to work. Wish I could help you slipknot!

Post 25 by GreenTurtle (Music is life. Love. Vitality.) on Monday, 14-Jan-2013 22:31:48

What exactly are you finding to be difficult about 7zip? If you can post the problem you're having, maybe I can help you out.

Post 26 by slipknotenraged (Generic Zoner) on Tuesday, 15-Jan-2013 5:24:14

i have no idea how to use 7zip i tried it for like 4 hours and i couldn't get it to work

I think it's on src333's ftp, but I'm afraid that's dead.
